WCG Counterstrike qualifiers for Rawalpindi/islamabad at Cybershot gaming zone

Well here are the details of the Zonal (Rawalpindi/Islamabad) Qualifying round of WCG Counter Strike 1.6 held at Cyber Shot Network Gaming Zone.

Overview

5 teams participated in the round out of which 4 were local and 1 was from Abbottabad. All the rounds were knock-out based. All matches were best of 3 and first team to win 16 rounds (either Counter Terrorist or Terrorist) in all in a single map. Single round time was 1.45 seconds.

The players were provided a quiet and calm environment during the match and no one except the judges and organizer was allowed to enter the gaming while match was in progress. A special 6x12 multimedia projection was provided outside gaming for spectators, which was showed a keen interest and gave a good environment to the spectators, not only gaming enthusiasts but other people as well. Quality sound with special effects was provided to spectators to add a taste to their enjoyment, in short they had a great time spectating the matches.

Team Details

1.)   Hazardous is so enthusiastic team who came all the way from Abbottabad  just to play the match. They gave a real tough time to the opponents. Lead by Behram Khan the team had great strategy.

2.)   Silent Hunterz is lead by Talha (!!!DMK!!! noobiast). Team had great coordination

3.)   IG was lead by Hasnain (Lord Eragon). A very well managed team and dedicated to the game.

4.)   Anarchy the most famous team of Rawalpindi/Islamabad, lead by Adnan (Eddy). The team really knows how to wrap up the match within an hour, i.e. it's the best of the best team in the region. Who follows the repute everywhere.

5.)   Rebels lead by Rehan (LockHeed). Despite of the fact that team didn’t contained two of its players but yet gave a very tough time to all.

Match Details

First Match:

Rebels vs. Silent Hunterz

The match was very long, took 4 hours to decide. Both teams played very well and finally after long match, Silent Hunterz Proved to be the winner.

Second Match:

IG vs. Hazardous

This was indeed a very tough match. All three maps were played and the decision was in ambiguity till last round. With fingers in the mouth, biting nails, all spectators showed a very keen interest in this match. More than 100 spectators were standing outside the Gamming Café watching the match on the spectator screen. And ultimately IG proved to be the winners at the last round

Third Match:

Silent Hunterz vs. IG

The match started at 8 in the morning next day and ended around 10. Yet again a very interesting match. Both teams were off n on at top of score fm each other. But yet again IG proved to be the winners.

Fourth Match (The Final):

Anarchy vs. IG

Anarchy is a well known team on this Rawalpindi/Islamabad Region. Everyone knows them to be best. It was a quick match on less than an hour. Anarchy won the first 2 maps of the match n kept up the repute. And have qualified for the regional qualifying round of WCG CS1.6
