Faisalabad: Punjab Senior Minister Raja Riaz Ahmad has said that the provision of basic amenities of life in accordance with the needs of the people was on top priority of the Punjab Government agenda for which nation building department have been directed for timely completion of development projects of public welfare. He was addressing to a public gathering at Gukhuwal after inaugurating the construction work of dispensary at Nurul Amin Colony and development of a park at Gukhuwal which would be completed at a cost of Rs.1.7 million and Rs.1 million respectively.
Punjab Minister said the work on provision of sui gas, electricity and construction of roads was underway in Nurul Amin and Benazir Colony at a cost of Rs. 7.1 million, where as the projection of provision of sui gas in Kamboh Colony had been approved. He said that the problems of the people of his constituency were his own problem and he was working with full commitment for its solution. He said that the projects of water supply, roads and sewerage would be completed in accordance with the requirement of the people of slum areas. Nazim Lyallpur Town Nadim Aftab Sandhu said that he was paying full attention on the solution of people problems. He said that the basic amenities including provision of street lights would be ensured in Khukhuwal and adjoining localities. Meanwhile Punjab Senior Minister Raja Riaz Ahmad inaugurated a project of 10 bedded hospital at a cost of 25.0 million and a project of construction of roads from Gaziabad to Hajiabad which would be completed Rs.6 million. Speaking on the occasion he said that the facilities of drinking water health, sanitation, roads, sewerage and other basic amenities were the right of the poor population which would be provided to them on priority basis.
