FAISALABAD-More strict security arrangements were made in Faisalabad here Friday after the sensitive law enforcement agency encounter with terrorists at Haji abad the other day when a major and four men of elite force were injured. However strict ever security arrangements were witnessed in Faisalabad during Juma prayers when large number of police men were deployed out side the mosques, Amam Barghahs, Churches and other public and sensitive places of the city. It was revealed by a police source that some sister agencies working along with the district police have warned that the terrorist can target Faisalabad as series of raids were conducted at some hide outs of terrorists in Faisalabad. The source maintained that the terrorist can target some places like any bazaar located around clock tower square, general bus stand, railway station or any big mosque. District police officers are also warned of the threat and asked to increase security measures at police lines and police stations. However the security was also beefed out and inside the house of district police officers and other district administration officers. A police source told the Nation that police and even the law enforcement agencies in simple clothes are fully monitoring the situation of the city and they have full control on the security measures. The source said in all the parts of the city sensitive law enforcement agencies are red alert and working with full passion. “If they found any clue and would be suspicious about any activity they will take all possible stern actions”. The source maintained that the other day sensitive law enforcement agency failed a big plan of the terrorist as they were planning to target any public place of Faisalabad with the use of ambulance. “The law enforcement agency through its vast network traced out the terrorist and foil their bid but unfortunately the out laws while opening indiscriminate fires and throwing hand grenades managed to escape but raids are being conducted in different parts of the city for the arrest of these terrorists as some important clues from Haji abad are also found by police”. The source added that a sensitive law enforcement agency has also arrest alleged terrorists whose name is Raza and he is told to be one of the companion of Bait Ullah Mahsood. The source disclosed that soon Punjab police would sent additional police contingent in Faisalabad to make security measure more strict and fool proof. Nevertheless after the sensitive law enforcement agency encounter with terrorists at Haji abad citizens are feeling fear and insecure while different rumors are also spread in the city that the terrorist can attack that place or the other one. Police have condemned all the rumors and urged upon the masses to bravely cooperate with the district police to curb terrorism. Police said that all the force is ready and alert to even sacrifice their lives for the safety and security of city and citizens. Moreover during Juma prayers in majority of the city mosques Ulema Akram condemned terrorism and said that suicide attack are not allowed in Islam. They said that Islam is a religion of love and peace; it gives us preaching to love and help humanity. Ulema said that those in the uniform of Taliban are destroying the image of Pakistan and Islam in entire world. They said that people killing hundreds of innocent people during bomb blasts cannot be Muslims. They urged upon the masses to be united and forget all the sects for victory against cruel forces that are damaging the name of Islam. They also expressed grief on the incident of Jamia Naeemia and demanded of the government to arrest and punish the master minds of the terrorism incident soon as it was a conspiracy to create rifts among different sects in the country. They asked the nation to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies for themselves and for others. Ulema Akram also raised their voice against hours long unscheduled load shedding and demanded for relief.
