About the Event (better known as Tweetup):
===========================
Celebrate this 14th August together with fellow bloggers and tweeple at the first Lahore Tweetup '09. Amongst a discussion on Social Activism and the 'role of bloggers in promoting Pakistan's real/positive image' each participant is requested to bring along ONE of the following:
* one fact about Pakistan that they find interesting,
* the name of one Pakistani somewhere (not necessarily documented in History) who SHOULD be a role model to others,
* a date when something significant took place yet was never documented,
* one location in Pakistan that people don't know about (and would benefit them if they knew!)
These are things which others may not know, though bring several in case your 'factoid' is taken by someone else. By the end of the session, we'd like to generate a "fact sheet" and we'll share what to do with this collaborative project at the Tweetup. Make sure you bring something green along with you (unless of course, you want to dress up in the national colors) and lead the effort to make sure #Pakistan [ http://search.twitter.com/search?q=%23Pakistan ] remains a trending topic on Twitter throughout the day, insha-Allah.
Let's celebrate Pakistan's Independence Day together!
See you then!!
